Kenya to Scrap Visa Requirements for All Africans by 2023, Boosting Intra-African Trade

Kenyan President William Ruto made a significant announcement on Saturday, declaring that Kenya would eliminate visa requirements for all Africans by the end of 2023. A scuffle ensued at Palapye kgotla this morning when a greedy but cowardly thief refused to take his chosen punishment; six strokes on the bare buttocks. After successfully stealing a pair of trousers, socks and gloves from CB store without getting caught Mpho Kabelo Keletso, 22 said he got tempted to steal some trainers from Pep for his girlfriend but his luck ran out. When they searched him they also found the spoils from the first crime. "Were you not satisfied with the clothes you had stolen from CB?" Kgosi Michael Maforaga quizzed the thief who replied; "I wanted to pick something for my girlfriend too." To avoid going to jail for a minimum of three years, Keletso pleaded with the chief to give him six lashes instead.
