Terrified Shoshong Senior Secondary School teachers downed tools fearing the wrath of students who they claim have a hit list of teachers to beat up. Tension between the teachers and students exploded Monday after a student allegedly slapped a teacher in class and the teachers decided enough was enough. Apparently four teachers have already been beaten by the angry students. Legae Academy last week recognised and awarded top achievers of their school with trophies and praises at their annual price giving ceremony. The event was attended by parents, teachers, Director of Basic Education, Simon Michael Coles, Indian High Commissioner, Madhava Chandra, wife of the Nigerian High Commissioner, Mrs Cocodia MP Robert Masitara and BCP president, Dumelang Salishando among others. Second largest Choppies store lands in Francistown

Botswana's second city, Francistown welcomed the second largest Choppies store in Botswana last Friday. The super store is said to contain 40% more refigeration space and that in terms of size it is the 2nd largest after Choppies Hyper along the Western-by-Pass in Gaborone.
