When they searched him they also found the spoils from the first crime. "Were you not satisfied with the clothes you had stolen from CB?" Kgosi Michael Maforaga quizzed the thief who replied; "I wanted to pick something for my girlfriend too." To avoid going to jail for a minimum of three years, Keletso pleaded with the chief to give him six lashes instead.
